Auraveni mobile app developer building and testing a mobile application on a phone and MacBook
Full Stack Developer (Mobile)

From Xcode to Play Console — Own the Whole Journey.

Full Stack Developer (Mobile) — Flutter, React Native, Swift & Kotlin — Kolkata, Full-Time

Join Our Full Stack Developer (Mobile) Team

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer (Mobile) with at least 2 years of hands-on experience shipping real apps to the App Store and Google Play — not just building screens in a simulator. You'll be comfortable across both hybrid frameworks (Flutter, React Native) and native development (Swift, Kotlin), and you'll own the parts of mobile development that don't show up in a portfolio screenshot: push notification setup, app store review guidelines, offline behavior, and the backend that keeps everything in sync.

This role is mobile-first, but not mobile-only. You'll work with REST APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and increasingly Supabase for backend and real-time data, alongside enough web and cloud exposure to deploy and maintain the backend services your apps depend on. If you've looked at our Full Stack Developer (Web) role and it felt close but not quite right, this is likely the one — same team, different center of gravity.

You'll be working directly on client mobile products from early on — booking apps, service platforms, apps built for real day-to-day use — alongside our design and backend teams, not sitting on a bench waiting to be trusted with something real. This is a full-time, work-from-office role based at our Kolkata studio.

How This Role Differs from Full Stack Developer (Web)

Both of our Full Stack roles touch web, mobile, and backend work — the difference is where your main focus and strongest skills sit.

Full Stack Developer (Web)

  • Primary focus: web frontend (React/Vue) and backend
  • Occasional mobile app work as needed
  • Deploys to web hosting and cloud infrastructure
  • Backend: Node.js, Express, Laravel

Full Stack Developer (Mobile) — this role

  • Primary focus: mobile apps (Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin)
  • Strong, hands-on native iOS and Android skills expected
  • Owns App Store and Google Play submission end to end
  • Backend: same, plus Firebase, Supabase, and mobile-specific real-time work

If most of your recent work has been building and shipping mobile apps rather than websites, this is the role. If it's the reverse, take a look at Full Stack Developer (Web) instead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter and React Native, and native apps using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android)
  • Handle the full app store lifecycle — build configuration, provisioning, App Store and Google Play submission, and the back-and-forth that comes with review rejections
  • Implement push notifications end to end, including Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Build and consume REST and GraphQL APIs connecting mobile apps to backend services
  • Work with Firebase and Supabase for authentication, real-time data, and backend-as-a-service features
  • Implement real-time features using WebSockets where apps need live updates — chat, tracking, notifications
  • Collaborate on backend logic in Node.js, Python, or PHP Laravel where mobile features need custom server-side work
  • Handle offline-first behavior, local data caching, and syncing so apps stay usable without a live connection
  • Test across real devices and OS versions, not just simulators, to catch the bugs that only show up on actual hardware
  • Deploy and maintain backend services on cloud infrastructure such as AWS supporting your mobile apps

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience building and shipping mobile applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and/or React Native for cross-platform development
  • Solid working knowledge of native development in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android)
  • Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play, including handling review feedback
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs; working knowledge of GraphQL
  • Experience with Firebase — authentication, push notifications, Firestore or real-time database
  • Comfortable with Git/GitHub or similar version control workflows
  • Understanding of mobile app security — secure storage, authentication tokens, and API key handling
  • Ability to debug platform-specific issues across both iOS and Android

Depending on the project, you'll work across some or all of the following:

  • Mobile (primary): Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin
  • Mobile Backend & Real-Time: Firebase, Supabase, WebSockets
  • APIs: REST, GraphQL
  • Backend (supporting): Node.js, Python, PHP Laravel
  • Web (occasional): React, Vue, Next.js
  • Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Cloud Infrastructure: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform

Good to Have

  • Experience with Supabase as a backend alternative to Firebase
  • Familiarity with GraphQL for efficient mobile data fetching
  • Working knowledge of Python (FastAPI or similar) for backend collaboration
  • Experience with WebSockets for real-time features
  • Exposure to web frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Next.js
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS for deploying mobile backends
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds (Fastlane, Codemagic, or similar)
  • Understanding of App Store Optimization (ASO) basics

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine interest in mobile-specific problems — battery usage, offline behavior, app size — not just "does it work on my phone"
  • Comfortable navigating App Store and Play Store policies without needing hand-holding through every rejection
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially for platform-specific bugs that don't show up in general web development
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across design, backend, and web teams
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Willingness to keep learning as mobile platforms, OS versions, and store policies keep changing under you

What We Offer

  • Real ownership of mobile products from your first few weeks, not a slow ramp-up
  • Exposure to a genuinely wide range of mobile projects — booking platforms, service apps, and more — not the same kind of build on repeat
  • Direct collaboration with an in-house web, backend, and design team, so your apps aren't built in isolation from the systems behind them
  • Room to grow into deeper native specialization or broader full-stack work, depending on where your interest goes

Job details

  • Experience : Minimum 2 Years
  • Employment Type : Full-Time
  • Location : Kolkata, West Bengal
  • Job Type : Full Time
  • Work Type : Work from Office
